Wisdom Wellbeing: Supporting Our People On and Off the Job

Why We Take Employee Wellbeing Seriously

At High Risk Solutions, safety doesn’t stop at physical risk.

Mental health, family pressures, financial stress, and personal challenges all affect how people show up — at work and at home.

That’s why we’ve partnered with Wisdom Wellbeing Services, our Employee Assistance Program (EAP), to support our employees and their families when they need it most.

What Is an EAP?

An Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides confidential, professional support to help people navigate life’s challenges.

Through Wisdom Wellbeing, HRS employees and their immediate family members can access:

  • Mental health and emotional support
  • Stress, anxiety, and burnout management
  • Family and relationship counselling
  • Financial and life support guidance
  • Early intervention before issues become bigger problems

It’s private. It’s confidential. And it’s there to support — not judge.

Why HRS Invests in Wellbeing

We work in high-risk, high-pressure environments. When people are carrying heavy stress outside of work, it doesn’t stay at the gate when they clock on.

Unaddressed stress can lead to:

  • Reduced focus and increased risk
  • Poor communication
  • Fatigue and burnout
  • Lower quality of work
  • Higher incident potential

By investing in wellbeing support, we’re not just doing the right thing — we’re building safer, stronger teams.

Happy, Supported People Do Better Work

When employees feel supported, listened to, and valued, the results show:

  • Better focus on site
  • Stronger teamwork and communication
  • Higher quality outcomes
  • Improved safety performance
  • More consistent decision-making

Happy employees create better quality work — and safer workplaces for everyone.

This Support Extends to Families

Work doesn’t exist in isolation. Family challenges affect work, and work stress affects families.

That’s why Wisdom Wellbeing support extends beyond the employee to their family. Supporting families means:

  • Less stress carried into the workplace
  • Stronger home environments
  • Better balance between work and life
  • Long-term stability for our people

When families are supported, our people are stronger.

No Stigma. No Pressure. Just Support.

Using the EAP is not a weakness.

It’s not recorded against performance.

And it doesn’t affect your role or future opportunities.

It’s simply a tool — like PPE or training — to help you stay safe, healthy, and balanced.

We encourage our teams to use the service early, not only when things feel overwhelming.

A Gold Standard Approach to People

Our Gold Standard culture is built on accountability, responsibility, and integrity — and that includes taking responsibility for our wellbeing.

Providing access to Wisdom Wellbeing Services is part of our commitment to:

  • Looking after our people
  • Reducing risk before it becomes an incident
  • Building sustainable careers, not short-term labour
  • Creating a workplace people are proud to be part of

Because People Matter

At HRS, we don’t just invest in equipment, systems, and training.

We invest in people — because people are the heart of every project we deliver.

If you’re an employee or a family member, we encourage you to take advantage of Wisdom Wellbeing Services. Support is there — and you don’t have to carry things alone.

Happy, supported people do better work.

And that’s good for everyone.
